The International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH), founded in 1992 is a growing international group of laboratory hematology professionals serving as a forum for the dissemination of new ideas and information in all of the disciplines within laboratory hematology. The Foundation’s $1.6MM grant supported ISLH development of an online education resource center, established collaborations and partnerships with other hematology associations around the world, and created a visiting trainee program. In recognition of Wallace’s contribution to the field of laboratory hematology, the Society established the Wallace H. Coulter Distinguished Lecture in 2015.
